Alekhya Vakalapudi is a Project Manager and Research Associate
with extensive experience in financial inclusion, microinsurance, and
technology-enabled social impact initiatives. She currently works at
IITDM Vizag, contributing to research and program
management in Financial Services with a strong focus on inclusive finance
and policy alignment.
Prior to IITDM, she led multiple large-scale initiatives at
MicroNsure Consultancy Private Limited, including the launch
of innovative insurance products, SaaS-based revenue models, and institutional
initiatives such as the Microinsurance Innovation Hub and corporate CSR foundations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is currently pursuing
an Executive MBA at IIM Kozhikode.
