🎓 Anti-Ragging Policy
The International Institute of Technology Design and Management, Vizag,
strictly prohibits ragging in any form. The Institute follows a zero-tolerance
approach in accordance with University Grants Commission guidelines and
applicable laws.
⚠️ What Constitutes Ragging
Ragging includes any act that causes or is likely to cause physical or
psychological harm, fear, humiliation, or distress to a student, including:
- Physical abuse, intimidation, or coercion
- Verbal harassment, bullying, or use of abusive language
- Forced participation in activities causing discomfort or embarrassment
- Disruption of academic or personal well-being
- Cyber ragging through digital or social media platforms
🛑 Zero-Tolerance Approach
Ragging is strictly prohibited within the campus, hostels, classrooms,
transportation facilities, and during any Institute-related activity,
whether conducted on or off campus.
Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action,
including suspension, expulsion, cancellation of admission, or legal
proceedings as per applicable laws.
📣 Reporting Ragging
Students who experience or witness ragging are encouraged to report the
matter immediately. All complaints are handled confidentially, and no
complainant will face retaliation.
