Dr. Nikita Pahwa is an academic, researcher, and higher education leader with extensive international experience in economics, research methods, data analytics, and business education. She holds a PhD in Economics and currently serves as Associate Professor of Applied Sciences and MBA Programme Coordinator at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. With more than 14 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience, she has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics, research methodology, business intelligence, data analytics, and management. Prior to her current role, she held teaching and supervisory positions at several higher education institutions, including Rotterdam Business School, and gained professional experience in policy analysis and macroeconomic planning through research roles with leading government think tanks in India. Her research interests span development economics, public finance, education policy, econometrics, and data−driven decision−making, with publications in international peer−reviewed journals. Dr. Pahwa is actively involved in thesis supervision, curriculum development, quality assurance, and international accreditation processes, and is committed to fostering applied, interdisciplinary learning that bridges academic research with real−world challenges.
