Dr. Victoria Stratan is an Associate Professor and PhD in Educational Sciences at Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, Chișinău, Moldova. With a career spanning teaching, research, educational leadership, and international academic collaboration, she brings a strong commitment to making education more inclusive, values−driven, and responsive to contemporary social challenges.
Her academic expertise covers global and intercultural education, moral and values education, social resilience, education for sustainable development, refugee education, competency−based assessment, curriculum development, teacher professional development, and educational leadership.
Dr. Stratan has built extensive international academic experience through teaching, research, study visits, and Erasmus+ mobility across Poland, Romania, Italy, Malta, Slovenia, Spain, and Sri Lanka. She currently serves as a Visiting Professor at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and has contributed to several international education and research projects, including initiatives supporting refugee children and strengthening inclusive and empathic education.
Beyond academia, she serves as a national trainer, external evaluation expert, doctoral committee member, conference speaker, and academic editorial contributor. Her research and publications reflect a sustained interest in teacher development, educational leadership, assessment, inclusion, resilience, and the changing role of education in society.
